Each village in the valley of Las Amescoas has a church. Most of them are pre-Gothic from the XIII century. They are open to the public during the day. Also highly recommended are Eulate Castle of and Urra Palace. The following link contains a complete description of the Art of Las Amescoas Valley.
A few miles from the valley of Las Amescoas is the Monastery of Iratxe. It has a very nice Romanesque church and an impressive cloister, and the Monastery of Iranzu which is of Cistercian origin. Both are cultural assets and part of the heritage of Spain.
